Overview

Welcome to IndusTrack, an online and mobile service operating in the USA. We at IndusTrack, LLC., (“IndusTrack,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) value and respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy governs our collection and use of the Personal Information provided by any user (“you”) or any customer of IndusTrack products or services.

This privacy policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their ‘Personally Identifiable Information’ (PII) is being used online. PII, as described in US privacy law and information security, is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context.

Please read our privacy policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect or otherwise handle your Personally Identifiable Information in accordance with our website.

What personal information do we collect from the people who use our web or mobile app?

When using IndusTrack Mobile App or IndusTrack Website, as appropriate, you may be asked to grant access to use the camera on a device where applications are installed and/or permission to check the current location – details to help you with your experience.

Registration Data. When you register to use the Service, we ask for information such as your full legal name, company name (if applicable), email address, billing address, and credit card information. This information will be used to administer your account, for billing, verification, and authentication purposes and to contact you in relation to the same.

Contents. Photos, notes, and other content can be captured from the App or Website. The content that you make available will be accessible to the Account Owner.

GPS Data. Once you download the App, the App will request access to your device location. If you grant the App access to your device location, we will be able to track the physical location of your device.

GPS and WiFi signals. We use this information to provide the Service. You can remove the App’s access to your device location at any time by changing privacy settings on your device, and you may also permit the App to only track your location at specific times by changing your privacy settings within the App. Not enabling access to your device location may limit the features and functionality of the Service. Location data will be available to the Account Owner.

Metadata. We collect and use various metadata derived from your use of the Service. For example, if you take a photo using the App, we also collect the time when the photo was taken. Such metadata will also be made available to the Account Owner.

Transactional Notifications. We provide notifications for certain activities relating to your use of our Service as per your indicated e-mail preferences. For example, we may send you notices of any updates to our Terms of Service or Privacy Policy.

When do we collect information?

We collect information from you only after you allow it to be captured. You’ll be asked for granting appropriate permissions at the time of application launch.

How do we protect your information?

Our data is being stored in secure Microsoft Azure Storage.

We use regular malware scanning and perform constant vulnerability maintenance.

Your personal information is kept safe behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive information you provide is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. We implement a variety of security measures when a user enters, submits, or accesses their information to maintain the safety of your personal information.

Cookies

We use “cookies” (small files placed on your hard drive) on certain pages to help analyze your interest and traffic on the IndusTrack application. Based on that, IndusTrack customizes its services, content, and informational material, measures the effectiveness of its features and any advertising, and enforces its agreements with users. Usually, you can opt out of cookies through browser settings, but please be advised that we offer certain features that will not be available to you if our cookies are disabled.

Most web browsers accept cookies automatically, but you can adjust your browser settings to block them in the future. Please refer to your browser's "Help" file to learn how to modify your settings regarding automated data collection.

This information we collect may include Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser type and language, Internet service provider (ISP), referring and exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.

We utilize this information to analyze trends, administer our site, understand user behavior, and gather demographic data about our user base as a whole. Additionally, we may employ this information in marketing and advertising services.

In some instances, our email messages may contain clickable links that direct recipients to specific content on our website. When these URLs are clicked, users are directed through a separate web server before reaching the desired page on our site. We track this click-through data to gauge interest in particular topics and evaluate the effectiveness of our customer communications. If you prefer not to be tracked in this manner, we advise refraining from clicking text or graphic links in our email messages.

We also utilize pixel tags, which enable us to send email messages that can be read by customers, and these tags inform us whether the email has been opened. This information may be used to reduce or eliminate messages sent to customers.

Accessing, Reviewing, and Changing Your Personal Information

You can see, review and change most of your personal information by signing on to the IndusTrack Application. You must immediately update your personal information if it changes or is inaccurate.  Once you make a public posting, or share information with another IndusTrack Application user, you may not be able to change, retrieve, or remove it.  Upon your request, we will close your account as soon as reasonably possible, based on your account activity and in accordance with applicable law. We retain personal information from closed accounts to comply with the law, prevent fraud, collect any fees owed, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our User Agreement, and take other actions otherwise permitted by law.

Online Security

We use appropriate administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect your personal information against unauthorized access and disclosure. Absolute security can never be guaranteed, but we take our obligation to preserve your privacy seriously and employ security measures intended to fully meet that obligation.

Third Parties

Except as otherwise expressly included in this Privacy Policy, this document addresses only the use and disclosure of information we collect from you through the IndusTrack Web Application and the Mobile App. If you disclose your information to others, their use of your information will be subjected to their own privacy policies. IndusTrack does not control the privacy policies of third parties, and you are subjected to the privacy policies of those third parties where applicable. We encourage you to ask questions before you disclose your personal information to others.

Third-Party Partner Integrations

Optional third-party add-ons may be offered by our integration partners from time to time. Data shared with third-party integration partners are subject to the privacy policies and terms of service of such third parties.

Marketing, Advertising & Analytics

At IndusTrack, we and our trusted third-party service providers employ various tools such as pixels, JavaScript, log files, and other mechanisms to automatically gather information when you access our website (the "Site"). This automatically collected information may include your IP address, device address or ID, web browser and device type, the web pages or sites you visit before and after using our Site, the pages or content you view or interact with, and the dates and times of your visits. We utilize this information to assess user engagement, understand user preferences and interests, improve our offerings, measure the performance of our services, and enhance our advertising efforts.

GIFs and Pixel Tags:

In addition to cookies, we employ GIFs, also known as web beacons, web bugs, or pixel tags. Clear GIFs are small graphics embedded invisibly on web pages, serving a function similar to cookies. We use clear GIFs in connection with our Site to track user activities, manage content, and compile usage statistics. In HTML emails to our customers, we and our third-party service providers may also utilize clear GIFs to track email response rates, identify email views, and monitor email forwarding.

Log Files:

Most web browsers automatically collect certain information, such as your IP address, device type, screen resolution, operating system version, and internet browser type and version. This information is collected and stored in log files.

Advertising:

To manage our advertising efforts on third-party websites, mobile apps, and online services, we collaborate with third-party ad networks, analytics companies, measurement services, and similar entities (referred to as "third-party ad companies"). These third-party ad companies, along with us, may utilize cookies, pixel tags, and other tools to gather activity information on our Site and Services, as well as on third-party sites and services. This collected information may include your IP address, device ID, cookie and advertising IDs, other identifiers, general location information, and, with your consent, more specific location information. We employ this information to present you with more relevant ads and content and to evaluate the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. For additional details about third-party ad networks and to opt out of interest-based ads from many ad networks, please visit http://aboutads.info.

Do Not Track:

Certain web browsers include a "Do Not Track" feature. As there is currently no universally accepted standard for responding to Do Not Track signals, our website does not currently respond to such signals.

Please note that by using our Site and Services, you consent to the collection, usage, and processing of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

COPPA (Children Online Privacy Protection Act)

When it comes to the collection of personal information from children under the age of 13 years old, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) puts parents in control. The Federal Trade Commission, and the United States consumer protection agency, enforce the COPPA Rule, which spells out what operators of websites and online services must do to protect children’s privacy and safety online.

We do not specifically market to children under the age of 13 years old.

Your California Privacy Rights

In accordance with California Civil Code Section § 1798.83, we respect the privacy rights of California residents who use our website. If you are a California resident, you have the right to request information regarding the disclosure of your personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not share your personal information with third parties for such purposes. If this practice changes in the future, we will provide you with a cost-free method to opt in or opt out of such disclosures.
